Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Undryft (“Undryft”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of the Undryft apps and websites (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. What Undryft is

Undryft is a personal relationship manager: it stores information you record about your contacts, reminds you to stay in touch, and uses AI to help you prepare for conversations. It is a tool for your own private use — it is not a social network, and the people you track do not have accounts or access to what you write.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You’re responsible for your sign-in credentials and for everything that happens under your account.
• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

Everything you put into Undryft — contact details, notes, recordings, transcripts, photos — is your content. You own it. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store it, back it up, display it to you, transcribe your recordings, index it for your search, and process it with the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. We claim no other rights, and we do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

You are responsible for your content, including:

• having the right to record and store the information you save about other people, and complying with laws that apply to you (for example, consent requirements when recording conversations);
• not storing content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• keeping your own copy of anything irreplaceable — we take backups, but the Service is not an archival system.

4. AI features

AI-generated content — prep questions, summaries, suggested follow-ups, transcriptions, recaps — is generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or oddly phrased. It is provided to assist your judgment, not replace it. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.

5. Subscriptions

Undryft has a free plan and paid plans (“Undryft Plus”: Pro and Mentor), purchased as auto-renewing subscriptions through the App Store:

• Prices and billing periods (monthly or annual) are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms.
• If a paid subscription ends, your account drops to the free plan. Your data is never deleted because of a downgrade — but features over the free limits (for example, contacts beyond the free cap) may become read-only until you upgrade again.
• We may change plan pricing or what each plan includes; changes to a paid plan take effect at your next renewal, with notice.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service. In particular, don’t:

• use it to harass, stalk, surveil, or harm others, or to store data about people for unlawful purposes;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or access it by any means other than the interfaces we provide;
• attempt to access other users’ data;
• resell the Service or use it to build a competing dataset;
• abuse metered features (for example, scripting AI generation).

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers (listed in the Privacy Policy) for sign-in, storage, AI, transcription, email, and payments. Their availability is outside our control, and their terms apply to their handling of your data as our processors.

8. Termination

• You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time, in the iOS app (Profile → Delete account) or on the web. Deletion is permanent.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the Service or other users. Unless the violation prevents it, we’ll give you a chance to export your data first.
• We may discontinue the Service; if we do, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Reminders can be missed, transcriptions can be wrong, and notifications depend on your device and third-party delivery.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Undryft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You’ll indemnify Undryft against claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms — for example, a claim by a third party about information you recorded about them unlawfully.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance. The current version always lives at undryft.com/terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, excluding its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
